Description
A collection of three films by Louis Malle that tells stories of youth, set against the tumult of World War II and postwar France. Murmur of the heart is a candid portrait of a precocious adolescent boy's sexual maturation. Lacombe, Lucien traces a young peasant's journey from a potential Resistance member to a Gestapo recruit. Au revoir les enfants tells the story of friendship and devastating loss between two boys living in Nazi-occupied France at a Catholic boarding school.
